For this week's playlist, I wanted to focus on some more upbeat selections as I celebrate earning my MA in Social Innovation and Sustainability on Sunday. As such, I've built the playlist around four of the best tracks from Kendrick Lamar's curated Black Panther album, featuring heavy hitters like Zacari, ScHoolboy Q, Jorja Smith, Vince Staples and a crop of African musical talent from Babes Wodumo to Yugen Blakrok. Peppered in are strong tracks by Ravyn Lenae with an assist by Steve Lacy, of The Internet fame. On the back half are some surprise singles from Beach House, who verge into acid pop territory while still capturing their ethereal spirit, Topaz Jone's groovy, funk-inflected rap stylings and a glorious pop Valentine's pop banger from newcomer Rina Sawayama.

Let's cheers to the present successes and future possibilities!
